Janet is owner, founder and Chief Executive Officer/President of King Interpreting Services, LLC.  She partners with her executive team and support staff to create a business model that is beneficial for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, our valued clients, and diverse team of independent contractors.  Janet’s entire career has revolved around business and customer service.  She spent almost two decades providing support to Fortune 500 companies and their employees.  Janet knows what it means to be an advocate. 

Janet is an entrepreneur at heart.  She has always had a strong desire to own her own business, not to just brand an item or provide a service, but to actually make a positive difference in the community.  Her desire is to foster an atmosphere that benefits every facet of her business. 

Janet holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.

James serves as our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer.  He works to ensure that the company remains financially stable.  Additionally, in his dual role, he is responsible for managing and successfully implementing the information and computer systems of the company.  James works closely with the accounting team to make sure that the clients’ and independent contractors’ invoices are processed timely and accurately.  James has spent the last fifteen years working in the accounting profession, with the majority of that time spent working for a large financial institution.  Before that, James provided customer service in various settings for more than a decade. 

James is a team player and enjoys helping a team and/or company grow.  He offers his point of view based upon his vast experiences and makes it a point to be a loyal member to the company.  James works best when he can support his team and is always available to assist when needed.

James holds an Associates of Science in Computer Engineering Technology and a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

Roger is the Chief Operations Officer and Staff interpreter at King. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in ASL/English, Career Interpreter Preparation, and Deaf Studies from North Central University. He enjoys interpreting in Performing Arts, Travel, and Legal settings the most.

Over the last 20 years, Roger has worked in a variety of settings as a freelance interpreter, video interpreter, staff interpreter, and Disability & Leave Service Business Partner at a multi-billion-dollar company. Roger relies heavily on community voices to support King Interpreting Services’ ongoing efforts to improve and find better ways to serve our language communities.

Roger values his faith and family above anything else and loves to interpret alongside his favorite team interpreter, his wife, Brooke, and spends his extra time with her and his two outstanding kids.
