Strategic Agency Alliances

The year 2020 brought with it tremendous challenges that impacted the interpreting industry.  Agencies around the nation were forced to rethink the way we do business.  Some were ready with virtual services.  Others were not but added those critical service offerings so that accessibility would not be hindered.  We’ve all realized that we are in this together—and need to be, in order to make sure the community continues to be served without interruption.

Approximately 1 in 20 Americans are either Deaf or Hard of Hearing*, which far outnumbers the national roster of qualified ASL interpreters.  Every day in America, members of the Deaf community go without access to communication in schools, hospitals, businesses, churches, and places of entertainment, because there are not enough interpreters to meet the growing demand.

King Interpreting Services, LLC believes that forming strategic alliances with other like-minded agencies across the nation is essential in order to make sure that the needs of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community are met.  The formation of a synergistic network of agencies also allows each organization to achieve organic growth more quickly than if we had acted alone.  If we have learned anything, it is that we all need each other.  If you are a fellow agency owner/operator and want to work together, we are open to having that dialogue.
