ADA Consulting Services

No one wants to end up being sued for not being in compliance with existing laws and business regulations.  The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law in 1990.  ADA law prohibits discrimination against those who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-Blind.  These laws apply to many areas, including employment, public accommodations, communications, transportation, education, hospitals, government programs and services.

King Interpreting offers ADA Compliance Training in both a group workshop setting and through individual training sessions.  We address questions and concerns of working with a Deaf individual, establishing the role of an interpreter, learning about Deaf culture, as well as providing a better understanding of the ADA.  Our desire is that you achieve and maintain compliance with the law in providing accessibility.  Additionally, we can even provide onsite instruction for your staff in basic ASL by a Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI).
